Avenger
You scored 73% Zeal, 3% Mercy, and 24% Vision!

Hardcore, heavy metal. That describes Avengers in a nutshell- first to
fight. Maybe you're a National Guardman, or a war vet, or a bouncer.
All you know is that there are Very Bad Things out there, and they need
to be given Final Death. While other Hunters may not approve of your
methods, or your inclination to shoot first and not questions at all,
they know that in a hard spot there's no one they'd want by their sides
more.

My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

Ow. [May. 23rd, 2006|06:07 pm]
My shoulders have started to kill lately, and my back too. A bit too much working out. I resubmitted my application -changed to regular army, fuck you weekend warriordom- and now, I am expected to wait 'a few weeks'. Yeah. Uh-huh. So, time to work out. Every chance I get.

Whee. As weak and feeble as I am, I'm gettign impatient. i want to get on with this.

Crap on a stick [May. 9th, 2006|04:25 pm]
Well, update again. Doing little but PT and recover from PT all day has left me with increased energy, less need for sleep, and the odd ache and pain. that aside, things are goign well. my body is adapting wonderfully to being abused, and after only a week, I'm doing way better.

Except for the fact that my brand new bike already has a hole in the tire, the bastard, and my knees have gone all to shit from too much running.

PT and YOU [May. 2nd, 2006|02:14 pm]
[mood |annoyedannoyed]

Ugh, I'm taking a break in a vicious cycle of physical training to update this damn thing for the first time in ages. I think it may end up being a lifeline sometime soon, so I better damn well take care of it.

Anyways, for those of you who haven't been keeping up with me (and shame on you) I've put in my papers to join the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada. They're a reserve unit, infantry mostly. I finished college about two weeks ago, so I'm estastic. I'm happy that with any luck I'll never have to be behind a desk again. So, I'm trying to get back in shape after two months of slacking, and it's...terrible. Demoralizing is more like it. I used to be able to run four miles, now one is giving me trouble. But, luckily, the unit is being slow processing my papers, so I'm able to use this time to work out. And I need to.

I feel like I've lost a sense of my body. I try to push myself like I used to, and I end up feeling sick. Too many sit ups, running too far too fast... I end up feeling like I need to puke. Which is good, the old saw is 'PT until you puke'. I don't know...afterwards, I feel great. Focused, even. So, that's my update. Anyone wants to join me in my masochism is more than welcome to.

Another winning night. [Feb. 19th, 2006|03:48 am]
So, I was kicking it back. Nothing big, no fighting, no nothing... yeah. The girlfriend is out on reading week, so we watch some Firefly, enjoy ourselves. Then, my mom uses her.

Okay, so remember the Christmas before this one? Long story short, my family is feuding with my dad's sister. We haven't talked in about as long. So, now my aunt's daughter is gettign married, and she invited us. I'm not so hot on that cousin to begin with. I could do without that lot entirely. But, my mom tells my gf about the wedding, and convinces her to make me go. Great. It's gonna be a debacle, mark my words.

So, once my mom stops playing my girlfriend against me, we watch some more firefly. She goes home. Then, in an odd moment of brotherly truce, me and my brother watch Ghost in the Shell 2. But then, he starts a fight with my dad at half past three in the morning and storms out the house. Wonderful! Now, brother and parents fighting, plus I got roped into a wedding in April.

A winner is not me.

Let's all go to Montreal. Now. [Feb. 14th, 2006|09:29 am]
So, the last few days, I've done not much. Mostly, it's because I'm right miserable this time of year, but that's okay. Actually, I had really wierd dreams last night, and I have this incredible urge to return to my ancestral home.

That's right, I want to uproot everything and head back.

It's a wonderful place, you know. The only issue is that I need to knock a few folks upside the head and drag them with me. I think that Christmas episode with the drinking and enjoying myself really is what did it.

The tomfoolery continues. [Jan. 31st, 2006|06:27 pm]
Well, lots of stuff today. not really. But by comparison, manic idiocy.

My boss got me a shift for the first time in like five weeks. Yay. Construction site, 1800-0600. Twelve hours of painful goodness. Well, at least I'll be able to get through my books. Mental note: pick up INVADER by Cherryh.

The Foreigner series ist krieg.

Also, my teacher came to class with pinkeye and kept us for an hour.Infection-o-licious.

30 students+pinkeyed teacher+small classroom= mass infection.

Yes, you should have seen us recoil. Well, the smart ones.
